What is edna cintron waving?

Edna Cintron was a woman who worked in the North Tower of the World Trade Center prior to the September 11 attacks. She gained notoriety after video footage captured her waving for help from a broken window on the 94th floor of the tower. Despite numerous attempts by rescue workers to reach her, Cintron and many others were unable to be saved before the tower collapsed. Her image waving from the window became a symbol of hopelessness and tragedy in the aftermath of the attacks.
